Welcome to our bakery! My name is Anne Marie!
It is my joy to bake for you! My little family and I live on a two acre hobby farm. We have a garden, an orchard, a yard full of chickens, and an acre where sheep, pigs and their wee little piglets roam!
I've enjoyed baking for the last fifteen years for family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. I started baking strictly gluten free once I married my husband and gave birth to my sweet little daughter. It has been a fun challenge to learn the ins and outs of gluten free sourdough, pizza crust, flat bread and all sorts of desserts. I hope to expand the goods that I offer over time. For now, I am sticking with some family favorites!
In honor of transparency, please know that I order most of my flours bulk through Azure Standard, in order to have certified gluten-free flours, high quality ingredients, and a low price point. The pumpkin puree that I use in the muffin recipe comes from our garden grown pumpkins and the apple+pear sauce is made from harvesting fruit from our orchard that we have cherished for over thirty years. Organic and raw wildflower honey is featured in Honey + Nut Granola and in the Honey + Oat loaf. The pricing is simple it is just the cost of ingredients plus the time I spent in the kitchen baking up your treats!
My desire for Honey Thatch Bakery is to bake quality gluten free goods for you while prioritizing the care of my family and our farm.
